Welcome to the Neshoba website! We are happy that you have shown an interest in our church. Please feel free to look around the site and become familiar with Neshoba.

Neshoba Church fosters religious growth and spiritual learning. Together, we celebrate life and worship in diverse fellowship, bearing witness to suffering and joy, and working for peace and justice in our world. Wherever you are on your religious and spiritual journey, with your doubts and questions, and with your passion and affirmations, know that you are welcome in our community. We are proud to be an official "Welcoming Congregation" of the national Unitarian Universalist Association, supporting diversity and equality for all persons.

We promote the full participation of persons without regard to race, color, sex, disability, affectional or sexual orientation, age, or national origin and without requiring adherence to any particular interpretation of religion or to any particular religious belief or creed.

Services and other events:
Worship service: Sunday, 11:00 AM to Noon
Church school: Sunday, 11:00 AM to Noon

Our Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church is to provide a caring community that fosters spiritual growth through free thought and respect for personal beliefs. This church seeks the wisdom of many religious traditions and encourages the expression of our ideals in service to all people.

Affirmation:
Love is the doctrine of this church, the quest for truth is its sacrament, and service is its prayer. To dwell together in peace, to seek knowledge in freedom, to serve human need, to the end that all souls shall grow into harmony with the Divine, thus do we covenant with each other and with God.

January 11  Letter to a Young U.U., Rev. Bill Neely

Tony Campolo, liberal Christian minister and professor, wrote Letters to a Young Evangelical in which he offers advice to young people (and everyone) for living an authentic, faithful, and loving Christian life in today’s world. What advice might we offer in our own letters to our young people (and everyone)?

Our monthly Community Offering will be received for Habitat for Humanity. This is also Potluck Sunday and Neshoba’s Birthday. All are welcome to join us as we celebrate Neshoba’s 17th birthday!
